Satellite TV for PC Software

July 29, 2008

It’s totally possible now to get high quality TV right on your PC via the magic of the Internew. Provided you have high speed Internet - via WiFi or network cable, and the software I’d like to discuss, you can get great reception from over 4,000 channels from hundreds of countries. That’s an incredible amount of video information. And yet, it’s totally free!

The software I want to talk about is an aggregator software developed over the past few years specifically to bring the channels together at your fingertips so you can watch TV right on your PC. There are so many choices that you may find yourself getting addicted to watching TV this way, as I did. Because of the way the channels are linked there is no monthly fee. And you’d be interested to know that it is totally legal.

Satellite TV for PC software is totally legal because the channels allocated for this are already cleared for Internet broadcast. There is no illegal use of signals, no hacking. This software is free of viruses and spyware and I found something else of interest - it comes in many different options. Basically, the more money you pay, the better the software - more channels you get. The low end gets around 2,000 channels. And I should know.

My background is 15 years in radio and TV right in the big Dallas/Fort Worth market. With my own talk show I was sent so many gizmos in those years but none compare to this piece that I’ve used so many times for sports - soccer games from Brazil to matches of UK teams I would have missed locally. It’s a great value, really.

I know this whole thing sounds like a commercial for this crazy software, and I don’t want it to be. I just want you to know how pleased I am with the cable TV for computer software. And I urge you to check it out as well. For the price, it’s an incredible value. I’ll tell you - this is a time saver, if your time is worth anything. The software quickly finds streaming video. But maybe you’re thinking it’s too complicated.

Well, you know, I am no expert when it comes to the computer. In fact, I always call my buddy, Dennis, to install things and to make sure my PC is running at its best. But when I looked at the point and click instructions for this software, I was pretty confident I could do this one myself. And guess what? The cable TV on computer software was so easy - I am sure anyone could install this. And another thing.

Satellite TV for PC software is on my desktop, ready to use. And provided I have a high speed connection, which I do, and a wireless card on my notebook, I can get all these channels - free. No hardware on either PC or notebook - it’s a simple software install. I think that’s pretty convenient. But like anything - all good things will come to an end. Already on the 4,000 channel website I see they will increase their price soon.

And finally, because of the low cost of this software - I mean, think about it, I just spent nearly $200 for a low end DVD player - this is much less and am certain I got a bargain because you know how they raise the price on these things. But when they do, it will still be a good bargain and I’ll be streaming TV right on my screen. And that’s pretty good in my book.
