The Beauty Secrets of the Stars

There’s no secret that women all over use a variety of products to keep their beauty. Across cultures, eras and continents beauty secrets from the highest royal to the lowliest commoner have been passed on from generations to generations. Natural measures do not seem so prevalent in the West though where women prefer the knife, injecting botox and liposuction to enhance their beauty. Natural health and beauty secrets are all around us and have no risks attached, so why aren’t Western women using them?

Probably one of the most famous and natural of these beauty secrets is water. Something so simple but it takes toxins from the body and hydrates the skin making it look beautiful at the same time and you only have to drink about eight glasses a day to achieve this. We need to keep our bodies and skin clean; water is the most efficient way to cleanout life’s impurities.

Fruit and vegetables are another great healthy source of vitamins and minerals to help keep us healthy. It’s amazing how much goodness there is in fruit and vegetables and all of it necessary for a healthy life. Carrot, orange, cucumber and apple juices are fantastic beauty secrets by being excellent rejuvenators of skin, hair and nails.

Don’t dismiss regular exercise as this has the benefit of oxygenating the blood and where the effects are seen very quickly. Your health and skin tone are improved in addition to your hair texture if you regularly swim, cycle, fun and of course walk. With exercise, the body becomes more adept at digesting food, burning calories and eliminating toxins from the system.

You will find that most people that take regular exercise are happy because it provides increased energy levels and puts you in a good mood. Looking younger is another by product of this, happiness. A positive person has been shown to have an increased immune system and longer life span.

Enjoy a bath or taking a shower daily as it is a beauty secret that refreshes the mind as well as the body. Why not try having a shower before work to wake you up and prepare you for the day and a bath in the evening before you go to sleep. A good night’s sleep puts a bounce in your step as your body feels re-energised.

We must all know by now the harm excessive exposure to the sun can do but too little sun can have a similar effect because it is a source of vitamin D and energy bringing health to the skin, bones and nails. So if you are lucky enough to live in a sun drenched country, remember to keep applying that sunscreen as it’s a beauty secret that will keep your skin looking young for many years. The skin can heal itself from many ailments but the suns strong UV rays cause it stress that nothing short of surgery can repair.

It is not often mentioned because we do not always see the real benefits of them but strong, meaningful relationships are probably the most crucial of beauty secrets. We are not very good at living our lives totally on our own other than for short periods as it tends to cause sickness and ill health. They may sometimes get on your nerves but your loved ones have a healing and calming effect when you are sad or unwell. They accept you for who you are, and no beauty secrets in the world can help you do that more than they can.
