Use Article Marketing As Your Secret Weapon
July 29, 2008
If you are a webmaster, you already probably know that there is only one way to earn money online and that is to drive quality traffic to your website. When millions of people are visiting your site on a regular basis, you will easily augment your sales potential and online revenue.
You just have to write and distribute quality articles online so you can generate quality inbound links, mark your online presence, and establish your expertise on your chosen niche.
Power up your titles. One of the first things that you need to do in order to make some serious noise online when using this marketing tool is to ensure that your articles will be opened and read. You can easily do this by learning the art of creating interesting and attention-grabbing titles.
Make sure that you follow appropriate keyword density and just use a maximum of 3% of your total word count so you will not be tagged as keyword abuser.
Make each word count. By this, I simply mean avoid using fillers in your content as they can make your articles relatively lengthy. After writing your copies, manually proofread them and ensure that all the words you use in your content help you in getting your message across. If any of them don’t serve the purpose, they are considered fillers and you must be removed them from your content to make your articles concise.
Your articles must be informative. Show your readers how much you appreciate the time they spend reading your articles by giving them exactly what they want - useful and valuable information. Share a slice of your expertise so they can earn more knowledge about their chosen niche and pressing issues.
Keep your articles short. You don’t need to produce 1,000-word article just to make your readers feel that you have so much information to share. Remember, you are writing for people who have short attention span and these people will truly appreciate it if you can educate them using 500 words or less. It would help if you can discuss highly specific topics and if you can avoid using fillers on your content.
Create an author’s bio. Don’t be another faceless online marketer. To easily build rapport with you readers, you may create an author’s bio that can offer your potential clients some of your personal information. In this section, you can communicate your hobbies, your expertise, your willingness to help, etc. you may also include a friendly-looking photo to add some personal touch.
