Acne Cure: Use Cream
July 29, 2008
A very effective treatment for acne is using acne cream. Start by using an herbal soap to wash your face then apply a face cream. When applying the cream make sure to gently massage it onto your face. This will allow your skin to absorb the oils from the cream. This also seals the pores with the oils to assist in retaining your skins natural moisture and will enhance the curing effects of the cream. It is best to use the cream two to three times per day, try doing in the morning and before bed at least.
The oils, vitamin A and E, and minerals in the cream will rejuvinate and rebuild your skin. The infected and clogged pores of your face will also be healed from the minerals in the cream.
It is possible to make the acne cream even more effective by adding 5-10 drops of pure tree tea oil to a two-ounce container. Do not use more than 15 drops. It has been found that Tree tea oil is effective for various skin disorders. It acts as an antiseptic, anti fungal, and antibacterial. It eliminates bacteria and fungus by providing oxygen to the cells and helping to repair the damaged skin caused by acne.
Acne creams can enhance its properties if borage oil is added to it. Borage oil helps to control excess hormones that cause over production of sebum. During teenage the adrenal glands produce large quantities of androgens. These androgens help to activate bone growth and sexual maturity. The release of excess oil from the glands near the hair follicle is a side effect of these androgens. This excess oil gives rise to black heads, white heads, pimples and cysts. However, if you develop any rash or skin reactions while using these, it is advised to discontinue their use.
There are creams with benzoyl peroxide. 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream can be used for most types of skin. While also available in 10% a lower strength of benzoyl peroxide is more effective in acne treatment. Don’t think a strong dose will combat a severe case of acne, it won’t be as effective. About 3% of people are allergic to benzoyl peroxide and may experience problems with their skin. Apply only on a small area as a test before you begin to use it.
